The art of clickbait may have brought you here, in which your interest is slightly questionable; but hopefully this new speculated change of law will keep you here. Tasmania is currently the only state in Australia in which:

People who take Medicinal Cannabis are legally allowed to drive.

However, the next domino to fall seems to be Western Australia, whom are actively considering law reform on the matter.

Interestingly, comprehensive studies being conducted in Sydney are currently returning results that: patients are able to drive without impairment; which is a first for a study of its kind.

In no means should this be unfortunate news but this study only supports patients who have built tolerance and is not a step towards cannabis being legalized for all drivers. You can read more here.

From drug breakthroughs to potential drug breakouts, months before the Olympics:

The only anti-doping lab in Africa has been suspended

This has countless flow-on implications, like, the cost for athletes to be cleared from the nearest facility- thousands of kilometers away in Qatar- or the increased temptation for athletes to “try and get away with it”. With drug laws facing some re-evaluation should eyes also be turned to the world of sports and its accompanying regulations?

Sports is constantly changing with legal and illegal supplements and further work needs to be put in to keep the entire world at the same standard. Sports will otherwise struggle immensely and as we are seeing already - barriers are being faced. Read more here

On the topic of the Olympics, here are the best 3 Olympic sports (No one watches the winter Olympics, so yes, this is summer sports).

3. 100m sprint

With Usain Bolt no longer running the race no longer has the same feel…still up there though for sure.

2. Decathlons

Vastly underappreciated. Constant leaderboard changes and true showings of all-round athlete ability… this event deserves more love.

1.Pole Vault

How cool is this event, who invented it and why is it so fun to watch? Who actually knows and who cares when you get to see some funny moments and some pure elegant brilliance.
